These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MelonGram platform, including our website and mobile application. By registering for an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use MelonGram, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be a resident of the United Kingdom.
• Be in possession of a valid UK bank account.
• Be able to provide valid identity documentation for verification purposes.

3. Services Provided

MelonGram provides an electronic money transfer service that allows eligible users to send GBP from the United Kingdom to recipients with Nigerian bank accounts.

We do not provide:

• Currency exchange as a standalone service.
• Investment services.
• Cryptocurrency services.
• Any other financial product not described herein.

4. Account Registration and Verification

All users are required to create an account and complete identity verification before sending money.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure.
• Not sharing your login details with any third party.

5. Transfers

• Transfer amounts are subject to limits that depend on your verification level.
• All transfers are subject to availability, compliance review, and applicable laws.
• Transfers cannot be reversed once processed.

6. Fees

Fees are displayed clearly before you confirm any transfer.

• The fee includes the cost of the transfer.
• The fee is separate from the exchange rate applied.

MelonGram reserves the right to update its fee schedule with reasonable notice.

7. Exchange Rates

MelonGram offers a live exchange rate that is applied at the time your transfer is confirmed.

• Rates are subject to market fluctuations.
• The rate displayed is the rate that will be applied to your transfer.

8. Prohibited Uses

You must not use MelonGram:

• To send money for illegal purposes.
• To fund activities that violate UK law.
• To circumvent AML or KYC requirements.
• In any manner that may constitute money laundering or financing of terrorism.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

• You may cancel a pending transfer before it has been processed.
• Once a transfer has been processed and sent to the recipient bank, it cannot be recalled.
• Refunds for failed transfers will be processed within three to five business days.

10. Liability

MelonGram is not liable for:

• Delays caused by recipient bank processing times.
• Incorrect recipient details provided by the sender.
• Events beyond our reasonable control.
• Any indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our service.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

MelonGram reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Breach these Terms.
• Show suspicious activity.
• Are subject to regulatory requirements.

We will notify you where legally permitted to do so.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
